Responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting all customers as they enter the store, as well as maintain knowledgeable of merchandise location, services and store layout.

? Knowledgeable of store, services and locations of merchandise
? Assists all customers with/or without special needs with shopping carts and promotional flyers
? Demonstrates strong skill set in suggestive selling techniques for add on sales
? Observes customer traffic and calls for additional service as needed to provide efficient customer service
? Practices operation invitation and positive customer interactions
? Maintains shopping cart area with adequate supply of carts that are free of papers and trash
? Ensures the front entrance is clean and safe for all shoppers
? Monitors shrink; takes appropriate action to minimize waste Follows corporate guidelines relating to MC&C and known loss merchandise
? Demonstrates good use of Electronic Article Surrveliance (EAS) by applying sensors on designated items and ensuring tags are deactivated as goods are sold
? Monitors sale circular and is knowledgeable about items that have sold out that may be substituted or if rain checks are being issued
? Performs other duties as assigned
? Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 20lbs
? Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
? Ability to make decisions in stressful situations
? Ability to bend, lift, stretch and reach repetitively
